NOTE : make sure your PC/laptop is equipped with Samsung Kies for the installation of the USB driver is done automatically so the Samsung Android device identified in the PC/laptop. If not, Odin will not be able to identify your device in Download Mode. When using the Odin, make sure the Kies is switched off.
