Galaxy S3 Tutorial to Root and CWM Recovery

The process to get root on samsung galaxy s3 is quite simple, but to do it you must do the right step, or you will get brick your phone. So in this post i will share how to root galaxt s3 and install clockworkmod recovery or also usually known as CWM. you must follow exactly what i explained below, we assumes no responsibilities of damage.


Performing this operation will get permission to Root and CWM recovery alternative. This will allow alternative to flash ROM and run programs that require root permissions.

Requirements

Samsung Galaxy S 3 with at least 50% charge
Odin: Download
CF-Root-SGS3 Vxxxx: Download
GS3 driver installed correctly on your PC (there will be enough 'connect the device to the PC and wait for Windows download and install the driver)


How To Root Galaxy S3 and Install CWM on Galaxy S3 Procedure:
  1. Unzip the zip file CF-Root on your PC. In this way you will find a file. Tar
  2. Put the Device mode '"download" button Home button + volume down' button + power
  3. In the screen that will appear 'click the Volume Up key to continue
  4. Now connect your device to your PC and open Odin
  5. Odin should detect the port with which the device is connected (COM1, COM2, etc.). If not detected there is some problem in driver
  6. On the right side there are 4 boxes of Odin, click on PDA and place the file. Tar just unpacked (CF-Root)
  7. Put the check "Auto Reboot" and uncheck on "F.Reset Time
  8. Now click on START and will begin 'writing device. At the end of the GS3 will boot 'automatically

If the procedure is successful you will find on Device:
  • Root: SuperSU
  • Recovery: ClockworkMod
  • Util: CWM Manager
Now you have everything you need to flash the ROM changed. Have fun
