Even last year it was announced that Intel will also be involved in the Android range. This year, the fruits of this project are already visible now. Already at CES in January, the first smartphones were presented with Medfield processors. This has so far been available only in Asia, but now Intel sends the Grand ZTE X IN a 4.3 inch smartphone for Germany in the race.

Actually, there are already enough chip manufacturers in the Android sector. It was thought previously. But Intel saw probably a little different and decided to enter there. Of course, they were also determined the rapid growth of Android smartphones have noticed. The Intel Medfield processor x86-based seemed to be exactly the right processor. And now you bring back in September for the first ZTE model with Medfield CPU to Germany.

The ZTE Grand IN X comes with a 4.3 inch display with 960 × 540 pixels resolution. The built-in Medfield processor is clocked at 1.6 GHz, the internal memory is 16GB in size. On the back of the smartphone an 8MP camera is installed. Also on board with NFC, and a Micro SD card slot for memory expansion are. The Intel chipset of ZTE Grand X IN dominated hyperthreading and special power-saving techniques, could therefore be of sufficient 1.650mAh battery.
