For some time, makes a Phablet, ie a mixture of tablet and smartphone the rounds of the rumor mill. Picture this HTC DROID Incredible X, which we want to know, among other things as a counterpart to the HTC 6435LVW very popular Galaxy Note from Samsung. Again and again, even small details about the device had appeared. Now speaking for the first time from the HTC One XL +, which therefore would be no improved version of our famous One XL, but a first Phablet.
Citing an anonymous source claiming PC Tablet.com that this device release date will be presented before the end of October 2012. At this stage, HTC with two devices anyway a rather small selection of tablets. Although the One XL + is not really a tablet, it will surely find its buyer. Supposedly HTC Scribe, ie the use of a digital pen and special feature of the recent HTC Tablets, It also reflects not be. A pity, but the ground that most people use a stylus to operate it anyway just to impress their friends. Technically, the device should be constructed as follows:
Based on current information, it is not yet sure if we will get this device in Germany, or whether the One XL + how many other devices are initially for the U.S., or even determined the Asian market. Since you have always the HTC DROID Incredible X spoke and it is also listed as a mobile operator Verizon Wireless in this, I personally do not believe a release in Europe, but only in the U.S.. But I let myself be happy to teach something better and just wait how the thing evolves. As always, it is also here, we keep at it and let you know if there is anything new.
Personal opinion of Robert: If I'm honest, I do not believe that this device exists. There were in the past, not a single rumor, which would indicate such Phablet. Moreover, I find the specifications and especially the relatively low resolution is not credible. Why would HTC put in a 5.7-inch display at 1280 x 768 pixels, if they opt for a 5-inch monitor for 1920 x 1080 pixels?
